The Swedes introduced the dynamic sport wagon Volvo V60. According Orjan Sterner (Orjan Sterner), responsible for the exterior of new items, this car should not compete with conventional universal – for the carriage of goods, there are such models as the V70 or XC70. The new V60 is as close in appearance and performance to the coupe.

Nevertheless, the sport wagon boasts a back seat sofa, folding in the proportion of 40/20/40, the general fifth door (1095 mm), luggage compartment capacity 430 liters.

Engines – the same as that for the new S60. The most powerful modification T6 petrol engine capacity of 304 hp zero to 100 km / h in 6.6 seconds and its top speed limited at 250 km / h.

V60 is also equipped with all the electronic innovations and security systems, as S60. In particular, the system allows to avoid accidents with pedestrians at speeds of up to 35 km / h and collisions with vehicles ahead of reaching speeds up to 30 km / h.

The public debut of Volvo V60 will be held Sept. 30 at the Paris Motor Show.
